Eng. Ronald Kwenda is a Registered Professional Civil and Structural Engineer with over 25 years of experience in engineering design, project management, and strategic leadership. He is the Managing Director and Principal Engineer of RJK Consulting Engineers, and holds a BSc Engineering (Honours) from the University of Zimbabwe.

A seasoned governance professional, Ronald has served on numerous boards across academia, industry, and civic organisations. His bond with Morning Star is personal and longstanding — all four of his daughters are alumni, and he has led most of the school’s construction projects over the past 13 years. An Elder at Selbourne Park Christian Church, he views his service on the Board as a privilege rooted in both professional commitment and Christian faith.

Pst. Richard L. Langworthy
Pst. Richard L. Langworthy

Richard Laurence Langworthy is an ordained Christian minister with nearly five decades of pastoral and leadership experience. He has served as Lead Pastor of Selbourne Park Christian Church since 1984, after being part of the founding pastoral team of Bulawayo Christian Centre in 1982. He played a key role in relocating and establishing the church in Selbourne Park and continues to provide oversight to a network of affiliated churches across Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa.

A founding figure of Morning Star Christian Academy, Richard served as its Headmaster until December 2019 and remains deeply committed to its mission. He holds a Diploma in Theology from the Apostolic Church of Pentecost of Canada and has over 30 years of service as a Deacon and Elder, contributing to governance, spiritual leadership, and community development initiatives. He has served on the Morning Star Board for the past five years, bringing a wealth of pastoral, educational, and leadership experience.

Pst. Michael Edward Blatch
Pst. Michael Edward Blatch

Michael Edward Blatch is an experienced business leader with a background in retail, investment management, and the automotive industry. He began his career in a family retail business, rising to Deputy Managing Director, and later worked in a family investment company. He currently serves as Dealer Principal of an Isuzu dealership in Bulawayo, a position he has held since 2008. He holds a BCom degree in Accounts and Business Administration and brings expertise in general management, strategic planning, financial oversight, and human resources.

A committed Christian leader, Michael has served as a Deacon and Elder at Selbourne Park Christian Church for over 30 years and has been actively involved in community and school governance. He has served on the Morning Star Board for five years, including three as Chairperson, and has a longstanding connection to the school as both a parent and church leader, with a passion for developing future leaders grounded in biblical values.

Dudley Scott Keefer
Dudley Scott Keefer

Dudley Scott Keefer is an experienced operations and business leader with over 20 years in the retail and building supply industry. He began his career managing multiple small companies in Bulawayo, overseeing finance, operations, and human resources, before joining Halsted Builders Express. Rising from Assistant to Branch Manager to Regional Manager, he has led store operations and spearheaded the design, construction, and launch of several branches nationwide. He also serves as Managing Director of a transport company operating a fleet of haulage trucks.

He brings expertise in operations, project management, human resources, and leadership development, supported by extensive management and training programs. Dudley has also served in leadership roles within the Round Table Organization, including Chairman. He has been a member of the Morning Star Board for two years and has a strong personal connection to the school through his family, with a passion for supporting the development of future generations grounded in Christian values.
