“Academic excellence is the pursuit of knowledge, but true education is the pursuit of wisdom. At Morning Star, we equip pupils not only with the skills to succeed in the world’s leading universities but with the character to lead with integrity and faith.”
Our curriculum is structured around the globally recognised Cambridge International Education framework, ensuring our pupils are prepared for success at every stage, from IGCSE through to our advanced A-Level programme, while instilling the character and principles necessary for ethical leadership.
The IGCSE Curriculum: Foundation and Faith
Our robust IGCSE offering provides a broad and challenging foundation designed to develop well-rounded, critical thinkers. While preparing pupils for examination success, Christian-based teachings and values are intentionally woven into the curriculum to inform decision-making, ethical understanding and worldview across all disciplines.
Core and Elective Subjects Include:
- Languages and Humanities: English Language and Literature, Isindebele, French, History, Geography and, critically, Bible Studies (as a core subject reinforcing our faith-based learning).
- Sciences: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Mathematics and Commercials: Mathematics, Accounting, Business Studies and Computer Science.
The Incoming A-Level College (Inaugurating 2026)
Following sustained success at the primary and IGCSE levels, we are proudly expanding our offering to include an A-Level College. This programme will provide advanced, specialist instruction that is directly aligned with our overarching vision for the Academy, encouraging pupils to apply their faith and ethical reasoning to their specialist subjects.

| Faculty | Subjects Offered (2026 Inauguration) |
| Sciences | Physics, Chemistry, Biology |
| Commercials | Accounting, Business Studies, Economics (subject to demand) |
| Arts & Humanities | English Literature, History and more (subject to demand) |
Our Vision: Professionals of Integrity
Our academic vision is clear: to nurture the next generation of African professionals: scientists, engineers, medics and leaders in commerce and the arts prepared for the world’s leading universities and careers with unwavering moral integrity.
- For our Science students: We aim to cultivate future scientists, engineers and medical professionals of the highest calibre, equipped with the knowledge and ethical framework to drive innovation responsibly.
- For our Arts and Commercial students: We focus on developing eloquent communicators, principled business leaders and critical thinkers who will excel in commerce, law, politics and the humanities as professionals grounded in strong Christian values.
We uphold this commitment through continuous investment in our faculty; many of our subject teachers are actively furthering their professional qualifications under the Academy’s development curriculum, ensuring our instruction remains current, effective and of the highest standard, while expertly integrating our faith-based perspective.
We look forward to guiding our pupils through this challenging and rewarding academic journey.
